Privay Policy
Privacy Policy
In short: this app collects no personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no internet connection is required. Your favourites stay on your own phone.
1. Who we are
Kannada Funny Jokes ("the app") is an offline entertainment app published by
Anusha Muniraju. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" refer to the developer of the
app. The app is distributed on Google Play under the package name
com.anushakannadajoke.app.
2. Information we do not collect
We do not collect, store, sell or transmit any personal information. Specifically, the app does not ask for or gather your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise or approximate location, microphone or camera input, calendar, SMS, call logs, installed-app list, or any government identifier. The app has no user accounts and no sign-in of any kind.
3. Information stored only on your device
To make the app useful, a small amount of information is saved in the app's private storage on your own phone:
- the jokes you mark as favourites,
- your chosen text size,
- a count of jokes you have viewed,
- which joke was shown as the "joke of the day" today.
This data never leaves your device. We cannot read it, and it is not backed up to any server of ours. Uninstalling the app, or clearing the app's storage from Android Settings, permanently deletes all of it.
4. Internet access
All jokes are bundled inside the app and are read from local storage. The app works fully offline and does not require an internet connection to function. The app does not contain analytics, tracking, or advertising software development kits.
5. Sharing a joke
When you tap Share, Android's own share sheet opens and you choose an app — for example WhatsApp. Only the joke text you selected is passed to that app. We do not see which app you chose or what you sent. Once the text reaches the other app, that app's own privacy policy applies to it. The Copy button places the joke text on your device clipboard, which is managed by Android and not by us.
6. Permissions
The app requests no dangerous Android runtime permissions. It does not need storage, location, camera, microphone or contacts access to work. If a future version needs a permission, we will explain why before requesting it and update this policy.
7. Children's privacy
The app is a general-audience humour app and is not directed at children under 13. Because we collect no personal data from anyone, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal information, contact us at anushamuniraju2026@gmail.com and we will act promptly.
8. Google Play
Google Play may independently collect information when you download or update the app, such as aggregated crash reports and install statistics. That collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, not by this one.
9. Content
The jokes in this app are intended as light-hearted entertainment in Kannada. They are not directed at any individual, community or group, and no offence is intended. If you find any content inappropriate, email anushamuniraju2026@gmail.com with the joke number shown on the card and we will review and remove it in the next update.
10. Your rights
Because no personal data reaches us, there is no account to access, correct, export or delete on our side. You remain in full control of the on-device data described in section 3 and can erase it at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app. You may still write to us with any privacy question and we will answer it.
11. Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update the text here and change the "Last updated" date above, and publish the same text at our Play Store privacy policy link. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
12. Contact
Questions about this policy, or a request to delete data? Write to anushamuniraju2026@gmail.com and we will reply within 7 working days.
